Sometimes you will not qualify, and that is normal
A study might be looking for mothers aged 25 to 40 in Colombia who bought nappies this month. If you are not a match, the survey closes after two minutes. It is not a bug or a punishment: it is how sampling works. The better your profile, the less often it happens.
Reaching US$5 takes a while
It depends on how many invitations exist for your profile. Some people get there in a couple of weeks, others in a long month. Nobody gets rich here and we are not going to pretend otherwise.
Your answers go out grouped and without your name
The client buys the statistic, not your file: they see that 62% prefer the blue packaging, not that you said it. We do not sell your email or pass it to advertisers.
You can leave whenever you want

What people ask before joining
Does joining cost anything?
No, not to join and not afterwards. Zona Encuestas charges no fee and never asks for a card. The brand commissioning the study is the one paying.
Which countries can take part?
Most of Latin America, Spain and the United States. Sign-up asks for yours and, if there are no studies for that country yet, we tell you right there instead of leaving you waiting.
When and how do I get paid?
You request a withdrawal once your balance reaches US$5 and the money goes out via PayPal to the email you signed up with. We charge no withdrawal fee.
Why does a survey sometimes close after two minutes?
Because each study targets a specific profile and has a quota. If the quota for your profile is already full, or your first answers show you are not who they are looking for, the questionnaire ends there. It happens across the whole industry; a complete profile makes it far rarer.
How many invitations will I get?
It depends on your country, your age and which studies are running at the time. Some weeks bring several, some none. When few arrive, it is almost always because the profile is incomplete.
What do you do with my data?
Your answers reach the client grouped and without your name. We use your email to send invitations and account notices, and nothing else. You can delete your profile whenever you want.
Does it work on a phone?
Yes, and that is how most people answer. Surveys run in your phone browser; there is nothing to install.
